KS1 Gymnastics Festival
A fantastic team of Year 2s took part in the York School Sports Network KS1 Gymnastics Festival. Despite it changing format from previous years, the event itself (open to participants only this year due to COVID) was a fantastic opportunity to show our gymnastic skills and hard work practising the three routines. There was also a point balance challenge (starting with 4 points of contact down to 1) and chance to make up and perform our own routine.
Progression and improved confidence were clearly seen by all those participating and it was really special to be part of a sporting event again. Well done to all on the team, you were a credit to Scarcroft.
