Real PE

The government guidance on using the funding suggests using it for 'providing staff with professional development, mentoring, training and resources to help them teach PE more effectively to all pupils, and embed physical activity across your school'. 

We have been using the Real PE scheme by Create Development for some time as we feel it helps us deliver high quality and effective sporting skills across all year groups. Having previously had whole school refresher days we are now focusing on supporting teachers to develop our pupils' transferable skills as part of our HEALTH (Holistic, Engaged, Affinity, Lifestyle, Transferable skills, Happy) intent, which is directly linked to the Real PE scheme.
